Do you know what’s happening today at the museum? The museum’s galleries feature a changing series of exhibits relevant to the history of Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area. It includes exhibits on the distinctive clock tower, local marine history, and the stories of people who contributed to the development of Sault Ste. Marie. There are also exhibits that tell the stories of important buildings in the City, including the museum itself, which was once a post office. A new exhibit is introduced every four months.
The museum focuses heavily on educating children through child-friendly exhibits and historically themed birthday parties. The building is eclectic in terms of architecture, making it an interesting place to go. At the museum there’s always something new to experience and discover!
Think about it…
Have you ever made a presentation, an exhibit or talked about something for show and tell? What was challenging about it? What did you like about it?
