Canada yew or Taxus Canadensis is a small coniferous ground shrub. Its leaves are green in colour and flat, while its bark is usually a reddish-brown. The Canada yew has a bright red false fruit that blooms during the summer. Parts of the Canada yew can be used as a cancer-fighting drug and is harvested sustainably for this purpose in the spring.
