Do you know why this area is called “Huckson’s Corners”? In the past, this was the Huckson family farm. As the City grew, new neighbourhoods developed here. Now it is a suburban area with many houses and a retirement home.
When a lot of people live in a small area, that area is said to have a high population density. This neighbourhood is one of many examples of how population densities change over time. Other clues can be easily spotted on the Hub Trail. For example, post office boxes are often used in high-density areas. Mail is delivered to one location rather than many individual homes.
