Many students at Sault College come here to pursue their goals in native studies, including social work, apprenticeships, and training in Anishinaabemowin. At the College you will find Enji Maawnjiding – “Where We Gather” – which is a home away from home for local and out of town students.

Enji Maanjiding was built to enhance the campus environment for its Indigenous population. Used on a day-to-day basis as a student lounge, the Centre includes gathering spaces, an Anishinaabemowin room, offices, a kitchen, and a servery. Its special events are opportunities for the entire campus and the broader community to celebrate Indigenous culture.
