Intersected by the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17) and connected by the International Bridge to Interstate 75, the Sault is easy to access via car. It is only a few hours’ drive away from urban centres such as Sudbury, Toronto, Chicago, and Detroit. You can also fly directly to the Sault Ste. Marie International Airport (YAM). Rail transport is available between Sault Ste. Marie and Hearst.
