The Roberta Bondar Transient Marina
Boat · Bateau · Jiimaan

Conveniently located near the heart of the city, this marina provides a safe place for out-of-town boaters to rest as they journey across the Great Lakes. Services include showers, restrooms, internet, laundry, fuel, nautical charts and guides. Local residents use the Bellevue Marina, located further up the St. Marys River.
Many important City events take place here. It is the starting point of the bi-annual Trans-Superior Race, which runs from Sault Ste. Marie to Duluth, Minnesota. It is also the finishing point for Sault Ste. Marie’s yearly Tug Boat Race, and a great place to view Canada Day celebrations. Make the Marina a part of your summer!
Hearty Artie Tip: Wear lifejackets or personal floatation devices whenever engaging in water activities such as boating, fishing, water skiing, canoeing, etc.
